Williams Creek was contracted to perform maintenance and inspection services at five project sites including debris and invasive plant removal, erosion control and repair, stormwater structure cleaning, mulching and plant replacement activities. Follow-up inspection activities have also included infiltration testing, sediment removal plan development and planting recommendations based on the performance indicators previously developed.
Williams Creek also previously worked with MSDGC staff to develop performance indicators for each SCM asset class in MSDGC’s Stormwater Control Measures Maintenance Manual outlining indicators of early asset failure for inspectors performing regular inspection activities. Williams Creek conducted project field visits to develop 25 performance indicators for the asset classes, which included vegetated systems, permeable pavements, subsurface systems, surface conveyance channels and stormwater structures. Williams Creek team members utilize performance indicators during inspection activities to help reduce operations and future capital costs for MSDGC.
